Jon Salmon

Jon Salmon currently serves as the Assistant General Counsel for the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), where responsibilities include representing and advising on water and environmental law matters while managing a team focused on environmental and natural resource issues. Prior experience includes roles as a Water & Public Agency Attorney at Aleshire & Wynder, LLP, providing litigation and advisory services to cities and water districts, and as an Associate Attorney at McCormick, Kidman & Behrens LLP, assisting water agency clients with various legal matters related to water rights and public law. Jon's legal career began with multiple clerk positions, including law clerk roles at EBMUD, the City and County of San Francisco, and other notable firms. Jon holds a J.D. from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a B.A. in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
