Jose E Duarte

Jose E Duarte has extensive experience in mechanical maintenance and engineering, primarily in the water treatment and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Plant Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor at EBMUD since August 2012, Duarte oversees maintenance for primary treatment operations and has previously held roles as a Maintenance Machinist and Plant Maintenance Mechanic, focusing on the repair and maintenance of potable water systems and various plant mechanics. Previous experience includes work as a Machinist at Bay Area News Group, an Electrician Maintenance Mechanic at Svenhard's Swedish Bakery, and a Maintenance Mechanic at Transcontinental, among others. Duarte completed a state-approved Electrician/General Maintenance apprenticeship at NUMMI, gaining certification in various technical skills.
