Michelle Workman

Michelle Workman has over a decade of experience in natural resources management, currently serving as the Manager of the Department of Natural Resources at EBMUD since February 2014. In this role, Michelle advocates for and manages multiple projects related to wildfire management, recreation, and the monitoring and management of fisheries and wildlife in the East Bay and Mokelumne watersheds. Previously, Michelle held various managerial positions, including overseeing Fisheries and Wildlife Programs and managing recreation facilities. Earlier experience includes serving as a Fish Biologist and Habitat Restoration Coordinator with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Michelle holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Conservation Biology from California State University-Sacramento.
