Joep Sweyen

Joep Sweyen is an experienced professional in public affairs and corporate communications, currently serving as the Public Affairs Lead for the Aramis Joint Team at Aramis CCS since November 2023. With a solid background at EBN B.V. since September 2020, Joep holds dual roles in the Public Affairs CCUS Programme and as a (senior) Corporate Affairs Advisor. Previous positions include Corporate Affairs/Public Affairs Manager and Head of Communications at Neptune Energy from February 2018 to September 2020, as well as a Public and Regulatory Affairs Advisor at ENGIE E&P Nederland B.V. from November 2015 to February 2018. Joep's earlier career highlights include consulting in public affairs at EPPA Politiek & Lobby and a role as Head of Office at the Foundation Project Delta Group. Early career experiences involve serving as a Policy Advisor in both Foreign Affairs and Agriculture at the CDA House of Representatives. Joep Sweyen holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Public Policy from the University of Twente and participated in an Erasmus exchange program at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
