Joris de Iongh

Joris de Iongh is an accomplished specialist in the fields of carbon capture and storage (CCS), reservoir engineering, and project management, currently serving as the EBN Joint Venture Representative for the Porthos project and CCUS Asset/Development Manager at EBN B.V. since January 2022. Prior to this role, Joris held the position of Senior Study and Project Manager at Total from August 2018 to January 2022, focusing on CO2 injection, CCS, and enhanced oil recovery projects. Joris's experience at Maersk Oil spans from 2010 to 2018, including roles such as Senior Project Engineer and Reservoir Engineer, where responsibilities included engineering and project management for various business ventures in multiple regions. Joris began a career in the oil and gas sector with a foundation in petroleum engineering, earning an MSc from Delft University of Technology, complemented by management studies at the University of Berkeley.
