Gege GATT

Gege GATT's work experience includes various roles and leadership positions in different organizations. In 1999, Gege GATT joined ICON as a Director, where they focused on developing custom software, mobile/web applications, and digital marketing solutions. They also held the position of Vice President at the Malta IT Law Association from 2014, participating in the founding members segment and later taking on responsibilities of corporate governance and strategic vision. Gege GATT served as a Board Member in Humanity 2.0 Foundation, a collaborative venture between public, private, and faith-based sectors to identify and remove impediments to human progress. Additionally, Gege GATT worked as a Specialist Examiner at the University of Malta, analyzing and examining ICT Law Doctoral Theses. They served as Chairman of the Board at Beacon Media Group from 2017 to 2021, where they oversaw the integration of news portal, radio station, social platforms, and a Media Centre. Gege GATT also held the position of Director at Yellow, Discover Local, a comprehensive business listings platform. They founded and directed Muovo by Broadwing Recruitment, a staffing and human resource services provider specializing in the ICT, i-gaming, and finance sectors. Gege GATT served as a Non-Executive Director at ESS DataBridge Malta (rebranded as 'essDocs'), an electronic shipping and trade document/data solutions provider. Finally, they served as a Board Member at the St James Cavalier Foundation, supporting and reflecting on Malta's traditional and historical heritage and culture.

Gege GATT attended the University of Malta from 1996 to 1999 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Legal & Humanistic Studies with a focus on Sociology. During the same time period, Gege GATT also pursued a Diploma (Dip. N.P.) of Notary Public, specializing in Notarial Studies. Continuing their education, Gege GATT completed a Doctorate in Legal Studies (LL.D.) at the University of Malta from 1996 to 2002.
