Eugene Bart

Eugene Bart is an accomplished computer vision expert with extensive experience in developing advanced algorithms for industrial automation and machine learning. Currently serving as Chief Architect and Staff Computer Vision Scientist at eBots since December 2022, Eugene focuses on enhancing autonomous robots. Prior to this role, Eugene was a member of the research staff at Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) from January 2009 to October 2022, where leadership was provided in various machine learning and computer vision projects. Eugene also worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the California Institute of Technology from October 2006 to December 2008, investigating nonparametric probabilistic graphical models in computer vision and recommendation systems, resulting in multiple publications. Eugene holds a PhD in Computer Vision from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a double major BSc in Computer Science and Physics, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University.
