Michael Murillo

Michael Murillo is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development and hardware engineering. Currently serving as the Vice President of R&D at EBR Systems, Inc. since November 2025, Michael previously held the position of Director of Hardware Development at Carbon from July 2017 to November 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing the hardware roadmap and ensuring product excellence. Michael's earlier roles include various engineering leadership positions at Ceterix Orthopaedics, Smart Design, and Cardica, Inc., demonstrating a strong background in mechanical engineering and design. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Product Design and Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, earned between 1997 and 2001.
