Erika Ottela

Erika Ottela has over 19 years of work experience. Erika started their career in 2002 as a Customer Service at Luottokunta (Visa Finland). In 2004 they moved to Nordic Central Securities Depository as a Settlement Supervisor. From 2006 to 2012, they worked at McKinsey & Company, first as a Sub Saharan Africa Research Manager, then as an Engagement Manager and two subsequent roles as a Management Consultant. In 2012, they pursued their MBA at INSEAD and in 2013 they joined Amazon EU Sarl as a Senior Manager - Private Label EU. In 2016, they moved to ITSI as a Strategy and Shared Services Executive and in 2019 they joined Absa Group as the Head Of Design and Head of Customer Design. In 2021, Erika co-founded eBrands Global and currently serves as the COO. In this role, they are responsible for making sure the brands grow and develop to their full potential.

Erika Ottela obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Economics from Aalto University in 2006, having studied Finance and Finance from 2001 to 2006. Erika completed their Matriculation from Tampereen Lyseon Lukio (Secondary school) in 2001, having studied from 1997 to 2001.
