Edel Shine

Edel Shine is currently the Head of Sustainability Transformation within the Group Strategy and Sustainability division at AIB, a role that builds on extensive experience in risk management and operational oversight. Prior to this position, Edel served as the Head of Risk Transformation and Operations at AIB and held various leadership roles at Ulster Bank, including Head of Oversight and Monitoring in Operational Risk Management. Edel is a FCA Chartered Accountant and holds a Master of Accounting from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, among other qualifications. Since 2023, Edel has also served as a Non-Executive Board Member at EBS d.a.c.
