Sriram Elango

Sriram Elango is currently serving as an MLOps Consultant at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) since January 2024. Previously, Sriram held the position of Machine Learning Engineering Consultant at Arkion, where responsibilities included MLOps for power grids maintenance using drone imagery, and at Vionlabs, focusing on recommender systems for a media streaming service. Sriram's experience also includes a Tech Intern role at Spotify, where work involved identifying downtime in internal services, and a Machine Learning Research Intern role at Idiap Research Institute, where projects centered on image classification and transfer learning. Additionally, Sriram worked as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at KTH, improving human body pose detection using computer vision, and undertook research in quantum computation as a Research Intern at IISER Kolkata. Since September 2016, Sriram has been developing a community revitalization platform at Vellby that enables communities to learn and adapt as living systems.
