Des Pieri

Des Pieri is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in trade finance and operations. Currently serving as the Global Head of Trade Finance and Payments at Ebury since October 2020, Des previously held the position of Head of Trade Operations at FBN Bank (UK) Limited, where responsibilities included managing trade-related functions and overseeing significant system upgrades. Prior roles include Manager of L/C & Trade Finance at Bank Sepah International, where a successful implementation of the Finastra Trade Finance solution was achieved, and Associate Director positions at BACB, contributing to T24 system implementations. Des began a career in operations with JPMorgan Chase and possesses a BTEC National Diploma in Business Studies, as well as professional qualifications in investment administration.
