Dirk Marzluf

Dirk Marzluf is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and operations within the banking sector. Currently serving as the Senior Executive Vice President at Banco Santander since September 2018, Dirk is a key member of the Group’s management committee, overseeing banking operations, technology, cyber, and data. Dirk holds multiple board positions, including Board Member at Santander UK and Santander Consumer Finance Germany, as well as Chair of the audit and governance committee at Ebury. Previous roles include Managing Director, Group CIO, and Group CEO at AXA Technology Services, where Dirk led the infrastructure and application platform service provider for AXA Group, and Global CTO at DaimlerChrysler Services UK IT Ltd. Dirk’s career began at Accenture as a Senior Consultant, focusing on software and product development. Dirk holds a Master’s degree in Wirtschaftsingenieur from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
