Kris Mercelis

Kris Mercelis is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in fintech and banking. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Board Member and Managing Director of Ebury since September 2019, Kris is tasked with expanding the company's presence in Belgium and Luxembourg. Prior to this, Kris was an Executive Board Member at Ebury Partners Belgium NV, where responsibilities included managing the transition of EEA clients post-Brexit. Kris' previous roles include Head of Capital Structuring and Advisory at ING Belgium, where a focus was placed on complex financing projects, and Head of Public Institutions at BNP Paribas Fortis, overseeing a team dedicated to public sector clients. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws from KU Leuven and a Master in Management from Antwerp Management School.
