Sam McCole is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in institutional finance and securitisation. Starting a career at MinterEllisonRuddWatts from February 2016 to August 2018, Sam acted for major New Zealand banks and various large borrowers on significant commercial transactions. Sam then joined Westpac, initially as Legal Counsel from August 2018 to April 2023 and later advanced to Senior Legal Counsel until May 2024, where responsibilities included advising on debt securities and corporate finance. Currently, Sam serves as Senior Legal Counsel at Ebury since May 2025, based in London. Sam holds a Bachelor's Degree in LLB/BSC from the University of Otago, completed in 2015, following a high school education at Macleans College.
