Sam McCormick

Sam McCormick serves as the Head of Embedded Finance for Ebury, focusing on developing the company's offerings and partnerships in the APAC region since May 2023. Previously, Sam led Ebury's Embedded Finance strategy, driving partner outreach, managing API implementations, and presenting proposals to C-suite executives. Prior to Ebury, Sam worked at HSBC as Partnerships Development Manager in the Banking-as-a-Service Platforms division, where responsibilities included partner outreach, contract pricing models, and securing governance approvals. Sam also held positions as a Global Liquidity and Cash Management Analyst, completing four rotations in transaction banking, and interned within Global Banking and Markets. Sam began a career in sales at Seymour Sports while earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Exeter.
