Robert Booth has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, holding significant leadership roles such as CEO at Virobay Inc from 2010 to 2018, and serving as Adjunct Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine from January 2016 to January 2021. Previously, Robert was an Operating Partner at TPG and Chief Scientific Officer at Celera Genomics. Robert's tenure at Roche encompassed roles as Senior Vice President at both Roche Palo Alto and Roche Pharmaceuticals, contributing to the company from 1989 to 2002. Early career experience includes positions as Section Head at Wellcome Research and Searle. Robert earned a Ph.D. from St Bartholomews Hospital Medical School, following an earlier education at UCL.
