In 2008, Electric Cab of Austin was created to provide memorable Out-of-Home, Experiential marketing options for companies and agencies searching for an alternative to legacy advertising such as radio, television, and newspaper in Downtown Austin.

As our company expands beyond a typical taxi and advertising service, we are partnering with companies that can help bring about the next step in commuting:  Micro-transit.  Commuters spend time in their vehicles that could be used productively while on a train or wifi-enable bus.  Our service is expanding to help connect people to public transportation and help reduce traffic congestion, single-use vehicle and carbon emissions.
