John Catania

John Catania is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in product development and software engineering. Currently serving as Head of Product Development at eCabs Technologies since November 2024, previous roles include Head of Development at Hornetsecurity from August 2017 to October 2024, where John led a team to integrate products following a company takeover and completed successful projects such as Endpoint Backup. Earlier career highlights include co-founding The Other Guys Ltd, focusing on web development and digital marketing, and working as a software developer on various projects, including an iOS app and systems development for Altaro and Ascent Software. John holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Communication Technology from the University of Malta.
