Rob Alter

Rob Alter is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in IT management and system architecture across various industries. Currently serving as Deputy Program Manager at ECCO Select for the USDA's Digital Infrastructure Services Center since November 2022, Rob has previously held senior roles at Cerner Corporation, including Director of Federal System Integration Architecture, where oversight of international data centers and cloud infrastructure was paramount. Earlier roles include PCA Manager at the US Treasury, Business Development Manager at Bit360, and ownership of Serengeti Enterprises in Brazil. Rob’s career also features significant positions with Verisign, BellSouth, and as a partner in a consulting firm. Education was completed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
