Jorge Cendal

Jorge Cendal has a diverse work experience in the software development industry. In 2015, they worked as a Front-End Developer for Zonten Spain, where they contributed to the branding and development of web applications. Jorge gained expertise in the Laravel framework for back-end development during this time. In 2017, Jorge worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Vigo, focusing on learning and utilizing frontend technologies and data visualization libraries for ID+i studies. At Hacce TIC Solutions, where they worked from 2018 to 2019, Jorge served as a Software Front-End Engineer, developing frontend software solutions using technologies such as Angular, WebGL, Three.js, and Laravel. In 2019, they co-founded Rebase, becoming the company's CEO. Rebase aimed to be the visible face of the Galician R&D ecosystem, addressing the issue of products with great potential being let down by subpar user interfaces. Currently, Jorge is the Head of Frontend at eccocar.

Jorge Cendal has a degree in Telecommunications Technology Engineering, specializing in Telecommunications Systems, from Universidade de Vigo. Jorge completed this degree between 2013 and 2018. In 2023 and 2024, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they pursued a MicroMaster in Statistics and Data Science, focusing on Mathematics and Computer Science.

Additionally, Jorge has obtained several certifications. In December 2022, they completed the "Angular Architecture: Strategic Design with Nx" certification from NG Poland Conf. Jorge also completed the "Introduction to Algorithms" certification from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the same month. In February 2020, they received the "IT Project Management" certification from LIDERA KNOWLEDGE S.L. Earlier, in November 2019, they obtained the "Certification Inbound Methodology" from HubSpot Academy.
