Jingye Zhou is the co-founder and CEO of Eccogene Inc, with extensive experience in the biotechnology industry, particularly in small molecule drug discovery. Since 2018, Eccogene has been dedicated to developing innovative therapeutics for chronic cardiometabolic and inflammatory conditions, aiming to enhance patient care and accessibility to cost-effective medicines. Previous roles include Investigator at GlaxoSmithKline and Head of Chemistry at Eli Lilly and Company. Additionally, Jingye served as Chair of the ACS Shanghai chapter and worked as a Research Scientist at TetraPhase Pharmaceuticals. Jingye earned a BS in Biology from Fudan University and a PhD in Chemistry from Brandeis University.
