Grant Visagie

Grant Visagie is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in network administration and IT support. As the Chief Network Technologist at the Western Cape Government since September 2018, Grant leads initiatives in network management and implementation. Concurrently, at Ecentric Payment Systems, Grant has held various roles since June 2013, including Network Engineer, Team Lead for Operations IT Support Engineering, and IT Support Engineer, showcasing expertise in network maintenance, system implementation, and technical documentation. Grant's early experience includes positions as a Senior Data Center Operator and Desktop Support Intern, emphasizing a solid foundation in IT support and hardware management. Grant holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of the Western Cape and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
