Ruby Tatla

Ruby Tatla is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as Director - Litigation and Senior Legal Counsel at Echelon Insurance since December 2019, Ruby has previously held roles at Desjardins General Insurance Group, where responsibilities included Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel from June 2013 to December 2019. Prior legal experience encompasses positions as a Lawyer at McCague Borlack LLP and Laxton Glass LLP, and as Legal Counsel at Hydro One. Ruby's educational background includes a Master of Laws focused on Health Law and a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, as well as an M.Sc. in Public Health Sciences from the University of Toronto, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Cellular Molecular & Microbial Biology and Psychology from the University of Calgary.
