Benjamin Ting has worked in a variety of roles across different industries since 2009. In 2009, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer for the UNSW Solar Racing Team and a Technical Leader - Chassis Systems for the UNSW Formula SAE - Redback Racing. Benjamin also worked as a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Buildings) for AECOM. In 2012, they were a Lean Consultant for Enterprise Connect. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at Thales Australia in roles such as Industrial and Manufacturing Engineer (NPD/NPI) and Mechanical and Systems Engineer. In 2016, they were a Consultant - Deep Technology Commercialisation. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Thales as Head of Technology and Innovation. During this time, they also worked at Cambridge Enterprise, University of Cambridge as a Technology Commercialisation Associate. In 2021, they were appointed Chief Commercial Officer and Commercial Director at Echion Technologies, followed by Business Development Manager.
