Daniel Martin is an experienced Senior Battery Scientist at Echion Technologies, having held roles in both Cell Development and Materials since April 2021. Responsibilities include the synthesis and development of Nb-based anode materials, materials characterization, battery assembly and testing, and assisting with materials scale-up, along with contributing to patent applications as an inventor on three patent families. Prior to this, Daniel served as a Battery Scientist while completing a PhD in Material Science and Engineering at The University of Sheffield from September 2017 to January 2022. Additional experience includes a position as a Visitor Services Warden at Buckingham Palace with the Royal Collection Trust from June 2013 to September 2016. Academic qualifications consist of a PhD, a Master’s Degree in Materials Science, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, all from esteemed institutions in the UK.
