Maurits Houck

Maurits Houck is a Battery Materials Scientist at Echion Technologies Ltd, where data analysis, modeling, and exploration of new battery materials take place since October 2019. Previously, Maurits served as Technical Manager at Delft Hyperloop, leading a team of 37 students to achieve second place in Elon Musk's Hyperloop competition from January 2017 to August 2018. Additional experience includes working as a Committee Member for Vereniging voor Technische Physica in 2016 and serving as Technical Lead for Team SGH in the Shell Ecomarathon from 2011 to 2013, managing a project that resulted in an energy-efficient vehicle. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Engineering of Battery Materials from the University of Cambridge, an MPhil in Energy Technologies, and a Bachelor in Applied Physics, alongside a minor in Finance from Delft University of Technology.
