James Tutt

James Tutt is an experienced communications leader and strategist with a career spanning over three decades. From 1993 to 1999, James served as Account Director at Text 100 before taking on various leadership roles at Microsoft from 2023 to 2024, including Director of Communications and Director of Corporate Communications, where responsibilities included managing digital threat communication and enhancing the corporate image. In 2025, James founded Grannom Consulting, focusing on providing trusted communications counsel amidst complex challenges. Additionally, James holds advisory and strategic roles at Echo Research and Folgate Advisors while also functioning as Communications Strategist at Folgate Advisors. Educationally, James holds a history degree from the University of Bristol.
