Mark Hamann has over 25 years of experience in software and embedded engineering. Mark began their career in 1994 as an Electrical Designer, Firmware Designer, and Embedded Designer at Toshiba International Corporation, where they localized adjustable speed drive designs and chose parts for different sizes and specifications of drives. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as a Software Engineer at Hampton Power Products, and then as a Firmware Staff Engineer and Embedded Engineer at Emulex, where they maintained and enhanced a C API for an SoC Fibre Channel router. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer, Linux Developer, Linux Driver Developer, and Firmware Engineer at Spectrum Signal Processing, where they worked on embedded Linux development on video cards with TI DaVinci DSP. From 2010 to 2016, they worked as a Pilot Project Developer and C# Developer at Bricologica, where they developed a multi-threaded C# GUI application, GUI, MAF plugin architecture, and an SDK. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have worked as a Software Developer 2 (Contract through Protingent Inc) at Microsoft.

Mark Hamann attended the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 1987 to 1991, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Mark then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a BS-EE in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
