Sidney Lin

Sidney Lin has been working in the engineering field since 1995. Sidney began their career as a Hardware Test Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where they were responsible for firmware and instrumentation programming, timing simulations, and testing custom ASIC boards. In 1999, they moved to Spectrian Corp as a Senior Software Test Engineer, where they designed and built complete ATE test systems using Visual Studios, LabVIEW, and LabWindows, as well as designing and integrating test systems to Microsoft SQL database system for Statistical Process Control. From 2003-2005, they worked as a Senior Software Test Engineer at Remec, Inc, where they performed the same duties as at Spectrian Corp. Sidney then moved to SOMA Networks as a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer, where they managed project schedules, staff, and designed and built complete ATE test systems. In 2007, they joined Fluke Corporation as a Senior Test Engineer, where they designed and built complete ATE test systems utilizing LabVIEW, and worked with contract manufacturers to develop products. Finally, they are currently employed as a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer at Echodyne since 2022.

Sidney Lin attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
