Tom Driscoll

Tom D. is the Founder and CTO of Echodyne Corp, where the company has developed the world's first compact solid-state true beam-steering radar for various industries, including autonomous vehicles and smart cities, since December 2014. Previously, Tom D. served as Managing Director and Principal Technologist at Intellectual Ventures, focusing on the Metamaterials Commercialization Center, and worked as a consultant and project manager at Duke University as a Visiting Research Scientist from January 2010 to December 2014. Additionally, Tom D. held research positions at UC San Diego, including Project Scientist, and has a PhD in Physics from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Physics from Harvey Mudd College.
