Grace Akin

Grace Akin is an accomplished communications professional currently serving as Communications Manager at Echoing Green since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Communications Manager and Communications Associate at Together Rising from December 2020 to June 2023, and as Field Coordinator for the No Kid Hungry campaign at Share Our Strength from April 2019 to November 2020. Grace began a career in development as a Development Associate at LIFT, Inc. and further enhanced communication skills while working as a Barista at Espresso Royale Coffee and facilitating FYCARE workshops at the University of Illinois Women's Resources Center. An internship with MEDLIFE in 2017 provided additional practical experience. Grace holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a focus on Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
