Darren Hamilton

Darren Hamilton serves as the Director of Space Systems Engineering at EchoStar Corporation since August 2001, where responsibilities include the development, design, and implementation of GEO and LEO spacecraft, with a focus on communication payloads and spectral reuse. Since 2005, multiple space system projects have been managed from design to operational phases. In July 2014, Darren Hamilton briefly held the position of President at Honu Space Systems, LLC, where the creation of technical business proposals for satellite system development was a primary focus. Darren Hamilton holds a Bachelor's Degree in Earth Science with a concentration in Geohydrology from Montana State University-Bozeman.
