Gary Whiting

Gary Whiting has extensive experience in IT infrastructure and operations, currently serving as the Director at EchoStar Corporation since March 2009, where previous roles included Senior IT Manager II and Data Center Architect. Prior to EchoStar, Gary was a CAB Member for the Oracle Storage Customer Advisory Board from 2011 to 2012, and worked at Qwest Communications as an Info Systems Engineer II from December 1997 to December 2008. Gary began the career as a Technical Staff, UNIX System Administrator at Analysts International Corporation and held the role of System Admin at Video Monitoring Services from July 1988 to January 1997. Gary holds an Associate's degree in Visual Communications from The Art Institutes, completed between 1988 and 1990.
