Tom van Meel

Tom Van Meel is a design engineer at EchoStar Corporation since December 2011, focusing on enhancing the usability and enjoyment of the Set Top Box user interface for Dish Network. Previously, Tom served as lead engineer at Signarama from January 2014 to July 2016, where responsibilities included creating and designing logos and business signs. The career also includes roles as a QA tester at both NetDevil and ProtoTest, ensuring the functionality of the LEGO Universe Computer Game, and as a supervisor at Tokyo Joe's from January 2007 to April 2009, managing restaurant operations. Tom holds a BS in Game Art and Design from Westwood College - Denver North and certificates in Small Business Management from Arapahoe Community College.
