Seth Piontek

Seth Piontek has a solid work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Seth started their career as an Information Technology Assistant at Omya in 2002 and worked there until 2005. Seth then joined Chittendon South Supervisory Union, where they initially worked as a Help Desk technician from 2007 to 2008, and later transitioned into the role of Network Technician from 2008 to 2010.

In 2010, Seth joined Green Mountain Coffee Roasters as a Systems Administrator, where they designed, deployed, and maintained vSphere environments supporting multiple data centers. Seth supported data center operations at multiple sites and collaborated with application teams to deploy optimal solutions. Seth held this position until 2015.

Following their time at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Seth joined C2 - Competitive Computing in 2015 as a Systems Engineer. Seth played a key role in architecting and deploying Microsoft Azure cloud-based solutions, designing enterprise-level application environments, and implementing Azure Site Recovery DR. Seth also managed and supported UCS environments and led data center migrations. In 2017, they were promoted to the role of Senior Systems Engineer and continued their contributions to the organization until 2018.

Since 2018, Seth has been working at EchoStor Technologies as a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, and beginning in 2022, their role expanded to include Cloud Architect responsibilities.

Overall, Seth's work experience showcases their expertise in cloud architecture, system engineering, data center operations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Seth Piontek attended Champlain College from 2003 to 2007, where they studied Computer Forensics. Seth did not obtain a degree during this time. Additionally, Seth has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the AZ-303 Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies from Microsoft, the Rubrik Technical Professional Accreditation (RTP) from Rubrik, Inc., the VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization 2020 from VMware, the VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization Design 2019 from VMware, the VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization 2019 from VMware, the VMware vSphere 6.5 Foundations from VMware, the VMware Certified Associate 6 – Hybrid Cloud, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate from Microsoft, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert from Microsoft, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), the Spot Business Professional Accreditation from Spot.io, the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and the RHCSA certification.
