Alan Middleton

Alan Middleton is a seasoned professional in training and education within the engineering and construction sectors, currently serving as the Senior Product Development Manager at ECITB since July 2020. In this role, Alan manages the research and development of training products to cater to the Engineering Construction Industry, overseeing projects from conception to launch. Prior to this, Alan held various significant positions including QA and Assessment Department Supervisor and Technical Training Manager at Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic, where responsibilities included managing technical education and overseeing instructors. Alan has also contributed as a Training Manager and Consultant Engineer in several organizations, emphasizing curriculum development and training delivery. With a solid educational background including a degree from Dundee University in welding and fabrication engineering, Alan combines practical experience with academic insight to enhance vocational training programs.
