Lalit Rao has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as an Eclipse Vert.x Contributor at Eclipse Foundation since August 2018, where contributions include the vertx-service-proxy project. Prior to this, Lalit held various positions at Yilu from December 2019 to April 2025, including Head of Engineering, Lead Backend Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. Lalit gained foundational skills as a Software Developer Engineer - II and Software Engineer at Hopscotch from November 2015 to October 2019, and began the career as an Associate Application Engineer at Remiges Technologies Pvt Ltd from June 2015 to November 2015. Lalit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, completed in 2015.
