eCLOSE Institute provides training for scientists, teachers, and students to collaboratively solve community health challenges.

Teachers: eCLOSE Class2Lab programming immerses your science students in original research projects they design themselves. Students first choose a health challenge and nutrients they think will improve the health of those they love. Each student completes experiments designed to test their hypotheses. Class2Lab aligns with curriculum standards in Biology, AP-Bio, Anatomy and Physiology, Environmental Science, and Pharmacology. Bring science to life at a low cost with eCLOSE Class2Lab! Scientists: Just imagine if there was an efficient, cost-effective way to screen millions of dietary compounds for efficacy against the chronic diseases our communities face. Just imagine if the scientists conducting the work were elementary, middle, and high school students, undergraduates, and professional scientists collaborating to uncover the secrets of communities previously untapped for health solutions. eCLOSE is that dream come true!
