Marcin Chrust

Marcin Chrust is a Senior Scientist at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, specializing in data assimilation methodology and machine learning. Previously, they held various engineering and technical consultancy roles at Det Norske Veritas and GE Energy, as well as postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Ottawa and École Polytechnique de Montréal. Marcin earned a PhD from Université de Strasbourg and multiple master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering from institutions including the National University of Singapore and Warsaw University of Technology. Their research and development efforts focus on advanced computational fluid dynamics and data assimilation platforms.
