Philip Browne is a scientist currently working on coupled ocean-atmosphere data assimilation. They served as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Reading from 2012 to 2016 before becoming a Scientist at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts from 2017 to 2023. Philip also advanced to the role of Senior Scientist during their tenure. They earned an MMath (Hons) in Mathematics and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Bath, completing their studies in 2008 and 2012 respectively.
