Jason Hunter

Jason Hunter, CPA, has a strong background in taxation and finance. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Tax Manager at Mantyla McReynolds, LLC for nearly nine years. In 2016, they moved on to BDO USA, LLP, where they held the position of Tax Managing Director until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they served as the Financial Controller at Chasebrook Company. Currently, Jason is employed as the Tax Manager at Eco Material Technologies, a position they held from September 2022 until January 2024. Jason then advanced to Tax Director, where they continue to excel.

Jason Hunter, CPA has a strong educational background in accounting. Jason obtained a MAcc degree from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a BS in Accounting from Utah Valley University between 2004 and 2007. Jason also holds a High School Diploma from Pleasant Grove High, which they received from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications, including a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in 2012, and is also a graduate of the AICPA Leadership Academy and holds the CGMA designation from the AICPA.
