Alysha D'Souza

Alysha D'Souza has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Alysha worked at ecobee as a Channel Marketing Manager and later transitioned to the role of Product Marketing Manager. At Startup Revival Stories, they served as the Founder and Producer of a video series that highlighted the stories of Canadian entrepreneurs during the global pandemic. Alysha also worked at Finaeo Inc. as the Head of Marketing and later as the Director of Content, where they implemented a content strategy and oversaw brand positioning and lead generation efforts. Prior to that, they worked at Wattpad as a Talent Manager, supporting and identifying partnership opportunities for influential writers. Additionally, they worked at Ryerson University's Transmedia Zone as a Program Manager & Instructor, focusing on entrepreneurship education for media producers and filmmakers. Finally, they held positions at The DMZ at Ryerson University, where they served as a Startup Services Lead and an Internal Communications and Events Assistant Coordinator, responsible for supporting startups and coordinating communications and events.

Alysha D'Souza holds a Master's Degree in Digital Media, which they obtained from Ryerson University in the year 2014. Prior to that, they completed their BCOMM degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Ryerson University between 2008 and 2012.

In 2012, they attended Hanzehogeschool Groningen/Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, where they studied International Marketing and Product Management. Outside of their formal education, Alysha D'Souza has obtained additional certifications, including a Pricing Certified | Masters from Product Marketing Alliance in June 2023 and a Smartphone Filmmaking Certificate from Raindance Canada in December 2019.
