Amrit Sharma has a diverse work experience starting from their time at ITS Helpdesk, Hamline University, where they served as a Senior Helpdesk Consultant and later as a Resident Assistant. Following this, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Thomson Reuters, where they developed a real-time analytics site using C# and SQL, among other tasks. Amrit continued their career at Thomson Reuters as a Software Engineer, managing projects and processes, and improving the availability and reliability of internal tools and products.
Amrit then founded and served as the Product Manager of "India Loves Pakistan," an Android app that gained popularity with over 380,000 downloads. Amrit also worked as a Freelance Journalist, publishing stories for various publications. At Air Ventures, they founded the company and worked as a Product Manager, focusing on creating innovative products using technologies such as NodeJS and Facebook's artificial intelligence platform.
Most recently, Amrit joined ecobee as a Developer Advocate, where they initially held the position of Developer Advocate and later advanced to the role of Senior Developer Advocate. In this role, they focused on crafting a great experience for developers integrating with ecobee APIs, combining their expertise in technology, marketing, and business development.
