Chris Buzon

Chris Buzon has an extensive work experience in the field of engineering operations and quality assurance. Chris is currently working as a Staff Engineering Ops Specialist at ecobee since March 2023. Before joining ecobee, Chris worked as an Agile Support Specialist at Top Hat from May 2022 to April 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Engineering Ops Manager at Prodigy from June 2021 to May 2022, and as a Senior Quality Assurance Manager from September 2019 to June 2021. Chris also held the role of Quality Assurance Manager at Phoenix Labs from December 2014 to September 2018, and worked as a Quality Assurance Lead at Riot Games from June 2013 to December 2014. Chris began their career at Bioware - Electronic Arts, where they held various roles including Quality Assurance Team Lead from June 2010 to June 2013, Quality Assurance Analyst / Senior Analyst from July 2008 to June 2010, and Quality Assurance Tester from April 2007 to July 2008.

Chris Buzon has an Associate's degree in Photographic Technology from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, they attended the University of Alberta where they studied Biological Sciences but did not obtain a degree. Chris completed their high school education and obtained a High School Diploma from the Archbishop MacDonald from 1996 to 1998.

Additionally, Chris Buzon has obtained several certifications. In September 2018, they completed the Bear Awareness certification from Canada Safety Training, the CSTS-09 certification from the British Columbia Safety Alliance, the TDG certification from Danatec by Yardstick Training, and the WHMIS certification from AixSafety.
