Dave Arnold

Dave Arnold has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dave is currently an Engineering Manager at ecobee since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Western Digital as a Senior Software Engineering Manager from June 2018 to July 2023. Dave also worked at Wearable Inc. as a Software Engineer from January 2013 to June 2018. Before that, they were a Software Developer at Aimetis from January 2011 to January 2013. Dave worked as a Researcher at UniqueSoft from January 2010 to January 2011, and at Hengsoft from May 2009 to December 2009. Earlier in their career, they were a Contract Instructor at Carleton University from 2004 to 2009, and a Programmer at Zeligsoft from 2003 to 2004.

Dave Arnold earned a PhD in Software Engineering from Carleton University, where they attended from 1998 to 2009.
