Fatima Reyes

Fatima Reyes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Fatima currently works as a Senior Communications Manager at ecobee, where they oversee external communications and led the successful PR campaign for the launch of two new thermostats in 2022. Prior to ecobee, Fatima worked at Lyft as a Communications Manager, where they led communications efforts in the U.S. and Canada, including policy and corporate communications. Fatima also played a key role in establishing the company's presence in Canada. Before joining Lyft, Fatima was a Senior Account Manager at Halo & Co., where they helped grow the company and managed client strategies and operations. Fatima also gained experience in event management and media relations at Rethink Breast Cancer, Edelman, rock-it promotions, inc., and ASC Public Relations. Additionally, Fatima has retail experience from their time as a Fitting Room Manager, Sales Associate, and Cashier at Aritzia. Fatima has also interned at Flare Magazine and served as an Associate Editor at Existere: Journal of Arts and Literature.

From 2008 to 2012, Fatima Reyes attended York University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Specialized Honours. Their field of study included English and Professional Writing, focusing on Institutional and Periodical Communications. In addition to their degree, Fatima also obtained a certification in the Ascend Leadership Program from Ascend in November 2021.
