Geoff Oakham

Geoff Oakham has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Geoff is currently employed at ecobee as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Meta as a Software Engineer from June 2021 to November 2022. Geoff also has experience in the software development field, having worked at FreshBooks as a Full Stack Software Developer from December 2014 to April 2021 and at OANDA as a Software Developer from May 2008 to October 2014. Geoff has also worked at The IT Department as a Senior Support Engineer from March 2005 to August 2006. Geoff's earlier work experience includes roles as a Software Developer at Cognos from 1999 to 2003 and as a software development co-op at Beyond 20/20 Inc. from 1995 to 1998. In addition to their technical roles, Geoff is also involved in a non-profit organization, BC Vernacular Jazz Dance Society, where they serve as the Comptroller (Secretary-Treasurer) since April 2015. Geoff is also a founder of SwingTix, a company they started in January 2009.

Geoff Oakham attended Lisgar Collegiate Institute for an unspecified period of time. Later, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Toronto in 2009.
