Kevin Chung has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Software Engineer at ecobee since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at GEOTAB from September 2020 to May 2022. From September 2019 to August 2020, Kevin worked as an Embedded Applications Tester at MMB Networks. In their role as a Test Engineer at Celestica from May 2017 to August 2018, they demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining procedures, troubleshooting and testing equipment, and developing autonomous trackers. Kevin also gained experience as an Electrical Engineering Member at McMaster Engineering EcoCAR 3 from September 2015 to May 2017, a QA Analyst at PointClickCare in May 2016, and a Lifeguard at PPL Aquatic, Fitness & Spa Group Inc. from June 2015 to September 2015.
Kevin Chung attended Glenforest Secondary School from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Kevin then went on to McMaster University, where they studied Electrical Engineering and earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree from 2014 to 2019. In July 2014, Kevin also obtained a Standard First Aid/National Lifeguard certification from the Lifesaving Society Ontario.
