Kim Lawless is a Design Researcher with over 10 years of experience in UX research and strategy. Currently, Kim serves as a Senior User Researcher at ecobee and also consults as a User Experience Researcher and Strategist at Lawless Research. Previously, Kim held roles such as Lead Design Strategist at Normative and Head of Research at Format, where they led various research initiatives and mentoring programs. Kim has taught at George Brown College as an Adjunct Faculty member for the Honours Bachelor of Digital Experience Design Program. Their educational background includes multiple degrees and certificates in Social Anthropology and Information Design from York University and the University of Toronto.
